Join together with other EEPSA Chapters and Island EEPSA Membership on a weekend retreat starting Friday afternoon.
Retreat goals and themes are to:
* Create networks and commnity between regional EEPSA chapters
* Cultivate a collective of educators advocating for environmental learning
* Share strategies and build support for local initiatives
* Nurture educator well-being through connection and time in nature.
We will share practices and activities, cultivate alliances and networks in our related fields and plan for the flourishing of environmental educators in our region while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Strathcona Park. Wellness activities such as sauna, morning yoga, mediation, walks and canoeing will be offered throughout the weekend to encourage wellness and create spaces to network and grow.
Accommodation: Participants will sleep in dormitories, accommodating up to four people per room. There are shared bathrooms as well as a shared kitchen and living space.
Meals: All meals will be vegan and there will be gluten-free options. Meals will be communal, created and eaten together.
Costs: Cost of the event including food and lodging are free thanks to generous support of EEPSA, The Raffi Foundation and Country Grocer. You must provide your own release time and travel to and from the event.
Space: 26 educators who are members of EEPSA
